Megaton: Mass Effect Coming To PS3 Early 2011 (UPDATE)

UPDATE 2: Not only will Mass Effect 2 be available on the PS3 in January of 2011, it’ll also feature bonus content not found on neither the PC or Xbox 360 versions.

This according to the official ME2 site:

“The PlayStation 3 edition will include the full Mass Effect 2 game and hours of bonus content, making this the perfect introduction to BioWare’s award-winning action RPG franchise.”

Mafia II Looks Inferior On PS3, 2K Games Responds

Long gone are the days when PS3 versions of games looked inferior. For the most part, multiplatform titles look identical of both consoles (PS3 and 360), and sometimes they even look better on Sony’s system.

But reports started surfacing a few days ago concerning 2K Games title, Mafia II. Various sources are claiming both the PC and 360 versions look better in terms of clarity and ambient effects, and such. The developer took notice, and over at its forums, a PR spokesperson responded.

Irrational Games just announced their new title: Bioshock: Infinite. Find the full quencher here. It’s all awesome stuff and Insomniac Games recognizes that.

They themselves can barely keep their big unveiling a secret, and on twitter, the biggest hint thus far has been given.

Big News: Insomniac Goes Multiplatform

Insomniac Games, a studio best known for developing games for Sony’s PlayStation brand has just inked a deal with EA Partners to create a franchise for both PS3 and Xbox 360.

This is after 16 years of making games only for PlayStation; from Spyro the Dragon, Ratchet and Clank and also the Resistance franchise.

The game will include a ‘brand new universe’ from Insomniac, and both EA and Ted Price are pleased with the deal.
