EA Announces Gamescom Lineup
EA is coming to Gamescom and it’s bring a plethora of games with it. The publisher will also be streaming its press conference live.
It’s a massive lineup, mind you, and the giant have carried along all the big names including Crysis 2, Dragon Age 2 and Bulletstorm.

When something’s revolutionary, don’t expect others to just gaze around in amazement doing nothing. If that’s what people did after a revolution, then it was not such a ground breaking idea in the first place.
I’m sure you remember when the first iPhone went on sale, that thing changed cellphones as we knew it forever. Now, almost every cellphone company on the market has something that resembles Apple’s masterpiece.
In the videogames industry, Media Molecule did something very similar with LittleBigPlant, a title so groundbreaking that Sony saw fit to buy the company. Would others follow? Eventually they would.

Today, EA Will Be Announcing Brand New Titles
Later today, EA will host its annual studio showcase, and there, the publishing giant will unveil some new titles. Could there be some big reveal from Respawn and Insomniac? May not.

You know Medal of Honor, the game was at the top, but like everything else, it came down. Gravity I guess…. but EA’s not giving up, especially with the rise of the CoD franchise. The FPS genre has been a populated space but still, it remains profitable.
EA wants its crown back. This new trailer, alongside the Limited Edition version of Medal of Honor, giving those who purchase the game exclusive access to the MP7, a weapon utilized by Tier 1 Operators in the field should do the job. Hit the link.
Bulletstorm Will Put The “Fun Back In Shooters” Says Producer
February 22nd, 2011, is when Bulletstorm will be available for the PS3 and Xbox 360 and PC. It’s not your generic shooter, apparently. In fact, the game sets out to bring back the fun in shooters. You know, because title like CoD, Battlefield, Medal of Honor, Killzone and the others are just too serious.

GameStop has listed Dead Space 2 Limited Edition for PS3, as the only version that will be available for the console.

Former Microsoft Exec, who now serves as Electronic Arts COO, John Schappert, has been saying great and lofty things about Sony’s black behemoth.
“It’s on fire”, the exec uttered in a recent interview with IGN.

Epic Games Cliff Bleszinski is taking a careful approach in answering that question. First, the developer sees a game with addictive multiplayer aspects as one piece of the puzzle that will help solve the problem.
3D Games May Come At A Premium Says EA’s Riccitiello
According to EA’s John Riccitiello, games that render in 3D will come at a larger price that standard versions, and that’s something he welcomes.
For him, a price plan for the new segment would be something he’d like to see to increase growth.
