David Cage and his Quantic Dream development team delivered Sony gold with Heavy Rain. The game, one that created its own genre, wasn’t expected to do much more than a million units in lifetime sales. But it’s already done 2 million units, and will probably sell past three million when all is said and done. It’s also been the recipient of many awards, and have made creator David Cage a star in the gaming industry.
Obviously, Sony’s not allowing such talent to just breakaway, and Cage has already said that their next game, a PS3 exclusive, is under development. A game that we might have the privilege of beholding at this year’s E3 in June.
