While some developers may be calling for the next generation of consoles because, apparently, they’ve pushed PS3 and 360 to the brink, Resistance 3 developer Insomniac Games reckons there’s still life in the former console, adding they can yet push the machine to produce stunning results.
Insomniac will still remain faithful to its PS3 fans even if it’s now a multiplatform developer, said the studio’s CEO Ted Price, recognizing that they have a “very loyal” base.
The Playstation Move is a great accessory to use in the many great shooters that have been coming out, such as Killzone 3 and Socom 4, and it will also see use in upcoming games like Resistance 3. To help improve this experience, Sony created the Sharp Shooter attachment. This attachment has been bundled with Socom 4 already, and beginning this fall, it will be bundled with Resistance 3, but this bundle will include much more than just the game and the Sharp Shooter attachment.
We’ve seen HD remakes of a few PS2 games including the God of War collection, Sly Cooper Collection and a few more. But gamers have been calling for a Ratchet And Clank HD remake ever since Sony started releasing them, and now, according to PlayStation Official Magazine UK, it seems they’ve listened to our cry.
Insomniac Games’ released a new video demonstrating even more Resistance 3 multiplayer footage, and in it, the dev talks about the game’s story, why the single player taking place in America, and the multiplayer portion in various parts of the world.
The dev also spoke more of the game’s mp, and why, after having such huge online battles with dozens playing in Resistance 2, tone it down to 8 versus 8 online match ups.
There’s something cool about leaks. Don’t ask me what, I can’t seem to put my finger on why people get so intrigued when things get out without permission.

I’m usually not easily convinced, but after watching the Resistance 3 multiplayer gameplay video embedded below the break, I must admit that my “want” meter has climb to another level.
GDC is hopping with action as we speak, and Insomniac Games are using the moment to unveil an exciting portion of Resistance 3, the game’s multiplayer.
Insomniac Games aren’t sitting around giving Resistance 3 and Ratchet And Clank: All4One never-ending polish. Not a chance. The studio’s already “quite busy” working on its multiplatform effort that will see a release in 2012.
We’ve seen good action from Resistance 3 already, but seeing more is never, ever, a problem.

Well, the guys at Insomniac are really tired of the back and fourth concerning the late protagonist, and in a video interview with the US PS Blog, Jon Paquette and Ryan Schneider of Insomniac Games had much to say.
On the back of the Resistance 3 trailer that was released yesterday, Insomniac Games have released an extended gameplay video of the game worth about four minutes.
This one’s for Nick, of course, and all the Ratchet And Clank enthusiasts out there who’ve been waiting to see how development on Insomniac Games’ latest effort was going.
