I was wrong. The reason we haven’t seen Crysis 2 on PS3 is not because EA and Sony have a great relationship, but rather because the game actually sucks on the console. For a machine with games like Killzone 3 and Uncharted 2 showcasing its first party power, and developers like Visceral with Dead Space 2, and DICE with its Battlefield: Bad Company games nailing down the system’s architecture, it’s a shame that Crytek, a studio that usually boasts of its capabilities, is set to release a PS3 game that’s inferior in more ways than one to the Xbox 360′s version.
Just a crying shame.
