Sean Tracy, a technical designer at Crytek has tweeted he’ll be attending the ‘Durango’ summit in London. You may remember Kotaku leaked Durango as the codename of the next Xbox. Oh yeah, things have gone to a whole new level.
“Enjoying the Durango developers summit in London. So far, great swag and interesting talks,” tweeted the designer. A tweet that’s since then been deleted.
Companies love giving their unannounced products codenames. Recently Sony called PS Vita NGP, and Kinect was known as Project Natal, the latter being named after a Brazilian City. Of course, Durango, Colorado is a city in the U.S., and also a Doge vehicle.
It seems to me the next Xbox is about to be blown wide open sooner than we think.

eh.
i’d buy the wii u before i buy the next xbox.
Well I’m excited to at least see the darn thing. New tech is always a treat.
im not interested yet.
nothing out there that these things could add that makes a 600 dollar investment sound half worthwhile!
once the 8K TVs LG showed at CES come to fruition in 5 years time then there will be a purpose for next gen systems.
till then………..
