Killzone: Mercenary announced for Vita

Guerrilla Games will be handling what has been the subject for discussion many times since its initial mention.

Officially named Killzone: Mercenary, we got to see a live action trailer of some humans, sporting ISA equipment, kidnapping a little girl for someone who paid – a lot. “We do not ask questions”, the cold blooded mercenary said, as the money was deposited into his team’s account. We later saw some gameplay, which had unbelievable visuals, of that same guy, presumably, slicing the throats of Helghast soldiers and shooting them to Hell and back. We also saw some Vita-exclusive controls, as was expected, mainly utilizing the touch screen for functions such as melee attacks.

Nothing more was announced for the game, but we believe it will be out before summer 2013.
