RAGE’s been available in the U.S. since Tuesday, but today our friends in Europe get their turn. The reviews hailed it as something special, although it vied to do nothing different.

RAGE went on sale yesterday around these parts, but already gamers, PC gamers namely, have been finding a long range of issues with the shooter, but the one that’s most glaring is the visuals problem. Things are so bad that it’s become a running joke around gaming’s web.

Today’s Sunday, and you’re at the house doing nothing. Spend at least an hour watching some HD gameplay of RAGE from the game’s PS3 version. Come on, you won’t be disappointed. There are spoilers, though. So, you know. It’s up to you.

And that’s raising my want levels for the game to an all new height. My anticipation for RAGE has been greater than that of Modern Warfare 3 or Battlefield 3, and quite frankly, Tuesday can’t get here soon enough.

id Software’s no stranger to developing big and critically acclaimed games. The firm’s is responsible for some of the biggest titles ever. Think DOOM, the “god-father” of first-person shooters, or Quake. But although all the aforementioned are great, RAGE is what’s hot, says the dev.

RAGE is definitely a big game, and the shooter’s creative director Tim Willits has shared some details as to how big it really is. Firstly, it’ll need an 8GB install to work on your PS3, while the Xbox 360 version comes on 3 discs.

When id Software talk about RAGE, or show the game, it’s usually PC or 360 footage on hand, but finally coming out of the Tokyo Game Show are two videos showing the shooter running on PS3.

Rage comes out early next Month so it’s time for one last trailer to get anyone who isn’t already excited on the hype the train. Bethesda’s gone on and released the PC requirements of id Software’s RAGE, and by the look of things, you’ll need a beastly machine to run this bad boy.

RAGE creative director Tim Willits has said although the PC version of RAGE was “always solid”, the team’s putting some finishing touches on it, adding that extra polish so many games lack. He also said when it comes to DLC, they’re ready to go, but are waiting on gamer feedback first so they could craft the best offering possible.

In the latest RAGE trailer Bethesda’s sent live, you’re seen hunting another outlaw group dubbed the Gearheads, trying to steal plutonium and Feltrite from the gang that will help the energy supply in Subwaytown for a long time.
