Assassin’s Creed and Soul Calibur are two very revered series and keeping with Namco Bandai’s habit of doing crossovers, there is a chance that the assassin himself will take up arms in the war of the blades.
According to Joystiq, an unknown person provided them with photos taken from a Soul Calibur 5 beta test at a fighting game tournament. In one of the photos is the character select screen and none other than Assassin Creed’s Ezio Auditore is prominently displayed.
This isn’t a confirmed fact though and we’ll be sure to keep you posted but the photo sure doesn’t seem like a fake. I’d kill to see all the different styles of hidden blades they could include in the game though that’s for sure.
don’t really play SC games anymore. 2 was my favorite cause i would always play as link from zelda. 3 i skipped, 4 i played for a little bit and never touched it again. so at first i wasn’t gonna buy 5 but now im kinda inticed
Yeah, that’s definitely enticing. I’ve always been good at SC games. This might just be my reunion? Time will tell.
yeah i was a master at SC games. not so much anymore. fighting games have been a slump for me lately riddled with disappointments.

Mortal Kombat – offline play is good, but the lack of dedicated servers online virtually renders the game unplayable for competitive gameplay

King of Fighters – Don’t even get me started
DragonBall Fighters – There hasn’t been a good DBZ fighting since budokai 3
Naruto – they suck in general
