Crytek loves boasting about its latest engine, CryEngine 3, constantly releasing tech demos to display its glory. The latest is a trailer touting Crysis 3′s visuals powered by the engine. It’s good stuff.
The game goes on sale March 2013 for PS3, Xbox 360 and PC.

Is there anyone else who thought Crysis 2 was just ok? I played it, and I wasn’t captivated with it like some people were. Not to say it was a bad game, just wasn’t for me I guess haha.
Same here man. Wasn’t much of a game for me either. The failed PS3 beta spoiled the whole thing for me.
Oh yea, I forgot about that travesty haha, I played the beta on the 360. I played it for probably an hour before I got bored xD. In regards to your article though, that engine looks pretty amazing.

and 3 is going back to the series roots so it will be even more open than crysis 2!
