I played the Sonic Generations demo, and admittedly, it’s one of the best experiences I’ve had with something so short. It took me back to the old days, and today, Sega’s making the game look even more promising by unveiling an old favorite: Metal Sonic.
The Sonic franchise has had it’s fair share of highs and lows over the last 20 years of titles. The the extreme highs of beautiful graphics and fast paced gameplay that were seen in the first three games, to the disappointing lows of countless spinoffs and failed tentative steps into 3D plains. But while the past 20 years spent with the worlds most famous blue hedgehog have had their fair share of disappointments, it looks like we will be celebrating Sonics 20th birthday with a bang.
Sega only yesterday announced it’s latest game from Sonic, and already we’re seeing gameplay vids land on gaming’s web. You won’t be disappointed, however, as in classic Sonic The Hedgehog style, the gameplay you’re about to see will bring back memories from the good old days….
