Update: Folks are reporting that the free game thing is a glitch, which I don’t understand because if you’re a member of PS Plus, you should get the game for free, at least the trial.
Original Story: It’s one of the highest rated PS3 games out this year, and now, if you purchased your PS3 and created a PSN account before the service was hacked back in April, inFamous 2, the full game, could be yours for free for a limited time.
It’s part of your Welcome Back Pack. How, you ask? Simple: Sony gave all PSN members who were affected by the breach a full 30 days of PS Plus for free, and there are yet a few days left before it expires. So if you haven’t taken advantage of PS Plus, do so now and download inFamous 2 asap.
Otherwise, it’s on the store for $59.99. Just go to the PlayStation Store, click on New Releases, and there you’ll see Cole waiting to electrify your PS3.
But you knew all this didn’t you? Of course you did.
