Video Thirst: Brink Release Trailer Takes Us To The Brink

by Ernice Gilbert on May 9th, 2011, under Bethesda, Hot, News, PC, PS3, Xbox 360

Brink comes out tomorrow in the U.S. and on Friday in the UK, and to celebrate its arrival Bethesda’s sent live the game’s release trailer. One, we think, takes us all to the brink with heart-thumping action.

It’s below the break.

Video Thirst: A Revolution

That’s the goal Splash Damage set for itself with Brink. They wanted to bring something fresh to the table, straying from the norm and inserting new features into their latest game. Things like inviting multiple friends to play the game’s single player with you, doesn’t matter where in the world they’re located. They could be the enemy, or just freedom fighters…..

It’s a game I’m looking forward to playing, and while it’ll be fine for Xbox 360 users, PSN is yet down. Hopes are running high for an early arrival of the network’s online status this week.

Quench it:

Buy it for PC, PS3 or Xbox 360.

im interested to see what the sound design is like though, BRINK is the first game to have every gun sound recorded individually.
they used some new tech that is suppose to really enhance the sound design, i remember IGN had a article on it a while ago.
thats one thing games today are really lacking on.
look how far we have come from the ps2 to now in graphics, AI, level design, scale, physics, almost every department.
only department that we really have not improved on 10 fold is sound effects.
play a movie then play a game and you will see what i mean.
i was watching resident evil afterlife 3D the other night, the sound effects were amazing!
thats one thing that really disappoints me, most movies these days use DTS HD.
where games use dolby digital, which is what the freaking ps2 used!
homefront is the best sounding game i have ever played, and its not even on the same planet as todays movies!

I do hope it sells well, really. I really hope so. Thought it would be a 9/10 game but oh well.
