After millions of fans were left disappointed at Modern warfare 2′s lack of dedicated severs, it seems that Activision are stepping up their game for Modern Warfare 3.

One of the biggest complaints gamers have had against the Call of Duty franchise is the lack of dedicated servers for multiplayer. The developers have talked about it in the past, but nothing’s ever materialized. This time however, might be different as Infinity Ward’s now having conversations about it.
In the video below the break, get an inside sneak of how the aliens in Crysis 2 came to life, with the developer showing off the game’s motion capture sessions. Crytek’s also confirmed that Crysis 2 be hosted with dedicated servers.
Battlefield 3′s shaping up to be really something. Along with the many features already confirmed for the game, developer DICE has made known that it’ll also be the recipient of dedicated servers.
It’s the biggest Xbox 360 game coming next year, and sites from across gaming’s web have previewed the title’s mulitpalyer offerings and made known their opinions. Verdict: It not only wins and wins big, Gears of War 3 is the only outstanding reason to actually go out and buy an Xbox 360 next year.
