Gears of War 3 Getting Multiplayer Beta In 2011, Dedicated Servers Confirmed

by Ernice Gilbert on October 7th, 2010, under Epic Games, Hot, News

The Xbox 360′s biggest third person shooter saw a delay recently, pushing it back to September 2011, but for all those disappointed, lift up your head and scream for joy: Epic’s just confirmed the game will see a multiplayer beta next year.

Not only that, but dedicated servers for the title’s social and matchmaking games have been confirmed. The beta will start early next year, confirmed the studio’s Rod Fergusson, adding it’s only for feedback and nothing else.

Awesome news.

Finally, they are willing to spend a little money for a better experience. Also, they better do a beta, after delaying for no reason.
