Quick Quenchers: Battlefield 3 Steel Book Edition Detailed

There’s Special Editions, and then there’s Battlefield 3 Steel Book Edition.

Gamers who pre-ordered the game through Swedish retailer will receive the Steel Book Edition exclusive to Sweden. Said edition includes the Strike at Karkand expansion pack and all the other Limited Edition benefits. It’ll also come in a metal case.

Again, as of now the Steel Book Edition of Battlefield 3 is only available for Swedish gamers, but neither DICE nor EA has ruled out other countries, so don’t give up hope just yet.

never liked steel books they feel really flimsy and cheap.
i wish more would go with the holographic feel, like the cover of infamous 2 or borderlands.

I usually buy the regular edition of all games, but every once and again I get SEs because of betas etc.

same, unless its a favorite series of mine then i might get the LE.
i wish more companies would go with the holographic covers like the ones on infamous 2 or borderlands, those look freaking sweet!
so much better then a steelbook.
one thing thats disappeared in LEs is making of doccumentary.
thats one thing that really disappointed me with GOW3s LE, there was no making of videos when every other GOW game has had quite a few.
last and only game i have bought this gen that came with a LE is the LE edition of MGS4, one of the best nicest limited editions i have ever bought!
i was a idiot for selling that!

Yeah the GOW III piece was well done.

If Bush were still President the US of A would invade Sweden so American gamers could get steel boxes too. Obama wants us to read more…whatever man. :)

    Haha! I read everyday! Literally.

Yeah – looking forward to some great reading, however I haven’t made up my mind on what I’ll be delving into just yet.
