E3 has come and gone, folks, and it’s been one heck of a ride. It might have been the worst E3, yes, but it still brought some new reveals and surprise announcements. I’m fading to black this weekend, as I’m spent, so let’s use this thread to talk about this year’s show, while keeping next year’s event in mind.
It’s the weekend, Games Thirst, what are you up to?
I’m taking the weekend off so don’t expect much until Monday morning (unless Xbox 720 or PS4 is announced), and I plan to get some rest throughout. In fact I hardly gamed last week, as I was consumed with all the E3 happenings. I enjoyed every moment of it, by the way, it’s always a thrill covering the show.

shock announcements wise yea it was the worst E3 ever!
but i think we were expecting it to be something it was never going to be.
i can really see it shifting to be like the PAXs, gamescoms, TGSs of the industry!
IE just another place for people to show off their games.
it seems in this day and age developers just are not comfortable anymore with bringing big surprising announcements to E3,. they would rather just announce the game on their blog or site than bring it to one of these events once its ready.
instead of waiting till its ready than waiting till the next E3 to show it off.
dunno if thats a good thing or a bad thing.
so with that said it certainly was the worst E3 for shock announcements, but for the games, the amount of games shown, and the quality of them, it was one of the best in a long long time!
it was a bit disappointing allot of games that should of been announced like GGs new IP, sucker punches new game, all should of been shown because there both ps3 games!
same goes for alan wake 2 what the hell happened!?
oh well, it was still a awesome event to see new trailers on kick a$$ games!
plus we did get 1 shock announcement in watch dogs so i guess thats good enough.
as for this weekend i spent most of today in the city had to take my glasses in for repairs there scratched to hell!
than had some lunch and went to see prometheus at the IMAX.
boy was that a borefest!
movies like this need to either be action packed like aliens, or have a really deep complex interesting characters and story like inception.
sadly prometheus had neither!
I dont watch many e3s at all, but its was a bit exciting to watch for new games to come. I was excited for the new halo 4 gameplay it was dope, and also the black ops 2 gameplay as well. Also how can i forget Sonys games, they were good as well, i own the ps3 and the 360 so i dont say which one is better then the other, both are consoles, both play games, both bring you entertainment, no need to complain just play have fun. The worst part of e3 would have to be nintendos, it dragged on..and on.
well enough of that, this weekend im at home. Got a bad stomach infection yesterday, so its going to be a boring pain in the ass weekend for me.

e3 was a good show.. people who say it sucked had way high expectations for e3. in other news.. majorleaguegaming is going on in CA, it started friday.. so today (sunday) most of them are just finals.. check it out if u have time. there is MK9, SCv KOF.. and many more…
