YouTube App Coming To PS Vita End Of June

Sony’s building PS Vita’s features list with each passing week, and today they’ve confirmed that come June’s end, a YouTube app will be available for the portable console.

Coming at the end of June, YouTube will be available as a free downloadable application for PS Vita via the PS Vita Store. With the YouTube application on PS Vita, you can watch millions of YouTube videos on the stunning 5” OLED screen, from comedy to gaming tips to today’s viral trends. The YouTube application features many of the functions you’re already familiar with – you can easily search for videos, choose favorites and make comments, and your personal YouTube account is available right on your PS Vita,” Sony wrote on PS Blogs.

This is great but I will still use the old way of downloading Videos using the PS Vita when I get the Vita because I like to show videos to my friends and I like to download music videos from time to time.

oh joy that is totally what people spent 300 bucks on the device for!
$ony needs to stop focusing on things every other device can do and start focusing on things only the vita can do!

I disagree with you Nick. If the PS Vita had more functions that almost every other handheld didn’t have wouldn’t that make more people want it? In return developers see that it’s selling good that way they develop better games.

    thats my point exactly!
$ony need to stop wasting time on things every device can already do and start working on cool new features people would use!
who spends 300 bucks on a vita when a phone, tablet, computer, any piece of electronic equipment can already do it!?
its like buying 2 separate toasters, one to toast sliced bread and one to toast bread rolls even though both are capable to do both.
why not save the money and space and just buy one?
