New L.A. Noire Patch Fixes Many A Bug

You’ve played L.A. Noire? Then you’ve experienced one or two bugs – don’t worry though, Rockstar’s got you covered. No more PS3-stalling issues, then.

According to patch notes found by Shacknews, the download eliminates various bugs and adds several improvements, yet you’ll not notice the changes.

The patch is not too big either. It weighs in at a meager 4MB.

The update:

– Fixes for several in-game store issues including age-verification for DLC purchases
– Fixes for minor gameplay bugs and graphical issues
– Fixes for several minor plot/objective/conversation issues
– Improvements in stat-tracking and Social Club integration

The game went on sale last Tuesday in the U.S., and past Friday in the UK, becoming the fastest selling new IP in the latter location, and according to VGCharts, selling a desirable 1.6 million copies in its first week on sale.

It’s yet another must buy. What are you waiting for?

    Well the patch has seemed to fix my issues. I can finally play the game and it is great.

    experienced more then a few bugs!
    constantly keep getting stuck in things!
    im kinda disappointed with the graphics too.
    i mean R* games are always among the best looking games out there!
    but this looks so washed out, heaps of pop in, low resolution, low texture resolution.
    not exactly up to the R* standards.

    That’s the only advantage about having to wait a week for my games…usually, their is usually a patch out to fix the bugs by the time I get it. Do you remember GTA IV. Same thing happened…many folks had serious issues trying to play the game and some people couldn’t get past the first load screen. By the time my copy arrived the patch was released and I never had issues with the game.

    they have, its just this is there first game so there new to this.
    they should of sent a few devs from R* north or somewhere to help, they obviously needed it.
    its carrying the R* badge, so it needs perfection!
    sadly it does not have it.
