A few days ago, SCEA boss Jack Tretton told Bloomberg that NGP might see delays in more than more region because of the Japanese earthquake disaster. But speaking to the Wall Street Journal, the company’s main branch in Japan has described those claims as false, stating the situation in Japan hasn’t affected NGP’s launch plans one bit.
SCEJ spokesperson Satoshi Fukuoaka told the publication that Tretton was simply “wrong” when he said the Japanese earthquake and tsunami had closed factories relating to Next Generation Portable production.
One person is telling the truth, and I smell it’s Tretton here. Of course Sony Japan is protecting its shares. I could be wrong though. Maybe Tretton made a mistake. What do you think?

poor sony cant get there facts stright can they?
1 + 1 = 2.
oh wait no it does not, it actually is 17.
o wait no its actually 12.
sigh.
I’d love NGP to release this year in the west. It’s atop my Christmas list.
hope so, but doubt it.
they had to shut down 4 of there factories due to the quakes, so that will hurt the NGPs manufacturing.
there just saying this to stop people from complaining, and more importantly to keep there stocks up.
It’s my Christmas wish!
maybe if your a good boy, santa might bring you one.

but only as long your on your best behavior!
I’m starting to behave from today.
