Latest Black Ops Update Bricks PS3 Version

Well what do we have here. In light of the double XP weekend Treyarch its hosting for Call of Duty: Black Ops game, I decided to jump in on the fun to gain some points. Too bad for me, then, as it seems as if I won’t get the chance not only to gain the extra points, but I might not be able to play Black Ops on my PS3 ever again.

Treyarch released patch 1.07 in tandem with the release of its First Strike DLC on PSN and the patch is supposed to fix many issues.

When I turned on the PS3, the downloading began, and since then, after the download completed, Black Ops won’t play. Nothing plays – the screen just goes black.

Something’s wrong, Treyarch. Fix it.

lol. Nice one. I don’t to be honest. It just won’t work. Maybe because I didn’t purchase the map pack? I just don’t know.

    wow, got me stumped!
it just goes to a black screen after launching?
that normally happens when the games trying to load off the HDD, maybe theres a sector corruption on the HDD and sometimes it skips the sector because it comes up as damaged.
maybe try deleting the game install, and all patches then re install them see if that fixes it.
