In its Q3 earnings call last night, Ubisoft revealed that Far Cry 3 had shipped 4.5 million units, and confirmed that fans wouldn’t have to wait another 4 years for the next installment, although the publisher made no attempts to give a release window. The number is spread across all platforms, and it includes digital sales. It also exceeded Ubisoft’s expectations.

i don’t know, i just don’t see what the hype is about it. tbh
its a brilliant game thats what all the hype is about.
its so much fun even if your just wondering around the islands looking for certain game to create a larger rucksack, or a new wallet.
then you have the really cool take downs like knifing a enemy from behind, than stealing his gun and 1 shot killing everyone around him.
or my personal favorite knife in the back, pull grenade and use human exploding box to blow up oncoming car.
if you say so. i mean it looks beautiful graphically, but it looks really boring to me.
i have to say, im with Nick, this is an absolutely brilliant game. THe storyline itself is pretty weak and could of been better, but you find yourself so engrossed with your surroundings and the island itself to even care. The special take downs are quality like you say. Its worth a rent at the very least Ghost just to see what all the hype is about. It is honestly as good as everyone says it is.
