Video Thirst: Metal Gear Solid 4 On NGP Looks Too Good To Be True

by Ernice Gilbert on January 27th, 2011, under Hot, News, Sony, Unbelievable

You wanted a revolution, and Sony has brought it. Signed and sealed, the giant has delivered. So much so that it’ll be hard for you to believe what you’re about to witness below the break.

Metal Gear Solid 4 running on NGP? No. But yes, and what’s even better, the game looks as if it was on the PS3. Head past the break.

Video Thirst: Wipe My Eyes…Twice

If I’m seeing correctly, this is a cut-scene in the opening section of Guns of the Patriots, where Old Snake is introduced to the Mk. II by Otacon. If you played MGS4 you’ll remember the location well.

Quench it, courtesy Gamespot.

Kojima said he’ll reveal his new game for the device come E3. We here just can’t wait.

been waiting a long time for a new device like this, though i think its too little too late!
by the time this thing releases the 3Ds would of been out for almost a year!
plus we all know what sony are like, releasing products with ridiculously high prices and poor launch lineup.
cough ps3, cough PSP, cough PSP go.
i honestly cant see anyone paying more than 400 bucks for this!
hopefully they will give some really good deals if you already have a PSP or PSP go.
not like when they released the slim, i traded in my fat 60GB and only got 100 bucks for it!
biggest mistake of my life, should of kept it!

Well Jack Tretton told Engadget that they wouldn’t make those mistakes again, and that it’ll release in separate regions on different dates. They also spoke of price too, and being that the 3DS is priced at $250, I think Sony will come competitive.

hope it does not release late here, on the ps3 launch we had to wait a extra 6 months!
hopefully sony will fix their pricing too, 300USD IS NOT 500 AUD!
AUD is actually stronger than the US dollar this morning it was at 1.23, so if anything it should be cheaper here!

Oh wow.. That’s great. Yeah, hope it can make it early up in AU. By the way bro, how’s the flooding issue? I heard you guys had some torrential rains up there… Hope all is well with you and yours….

^^ Same here. Sony slam dunked this one.

I wouldn’t doubt if they were waiting to see the release and price of the 3DS before they officially announced the NGP.

Yeah, that would be a good strategy. That and feeling the feedback they’ll get. So far it’s been all great.

yea, that was in QLD the state above us had me worried for a while there because my godfather lives in QLD but turned out hes a fair way away from there.
they had some really bad rain, actually a whole years worth in 2 days to be precise!
that caused all the rivers to burst, and, well the waters got to go somewhere.
so scary watching how powerful it was, you think eh its only water it wont break through houses, but it carried them away like they were feathers!
stupid thing about it, and this really pisses me off, is that the insurance companies wont cover it.
they say that natural disasters are not covered in home insurance, its only if its man caused IE a dam bursts or something.
    now thats BS!
all these people have lost their homes, everything, and the selfish tight a$$ed insurance companies wont pay them squat!
