VT: Black Ops Car Package And Hardened Editions Trailer Released

Activision has released a brand new Black Ops 2 trailer featuring details of the game’s special editions. Quench it below the break.

The Care Package, which appears similar to Call of Duty’s previous Prestige Editions, includes a replica MO-27 Dragonfire Drone complete with a remote control, leading us to believe that it may be flyable.

The package also includes additional in-game content, including pre-order bonus multiplayer map Nuketown 2025, Nuketown Zombies, plus exclusive weapon camo and player card backgrounds.

The official soundtrack and two limited edition ‘Challenge Coins’ are there, too, as well as console specific bonuses:

PlayStation 3 players get an exclusive multiplayer theme and a zombies theme, while Xbox 360 users get a CLAW avatar prop and zombies avatar costume.

As for the Hardened Edition, it contains everything in the image here, minus the Dragonfire Drone and the unconventional packaging. Instead, it comes packaged in an orange and black box.

Black Ops 2′s Hardened Edition doesn’t seem to be packaged with Elite, unlike that of Modern Warfare 3.

Activision has yet to officially confirm either edition, but a photo of Treyarch leads Dan Bunting and David Vonderhaar posing with the Care Package appeared on the Black Ops II Facebook page this morning. So that’s confirmation enough.

    ;)
shame you cant make real life versions of these instead of crappy plastic models.
id love to get one of the hidden blade from AC, but sadly its plastic obviously metal would be considered a weapon and banned.
right, you can have knifes and guns but you cant have a spring loaded spike?
    whats the difference!?

i remember when the uncharted 2 fortune hunter edition released some people were caught importing it and they were confiscated because the purma dagger was metal and was considered a weapon.
ended up in some legal water too.
