PS3′s free-to-play, massively multiplayer online (MMO) titled DUST 514 will begin its open better on the 22nd of this month.
The launch of the open beta is possible thanks to the January 10th merger of DUST 514 with EVE Online on the Tranquility server hosting the EVE Universe.
Said Hilmar Veigar Pétursson, CEO of CCP:
The launch of the DUST 514 Open Beta is another step towards our long-term vision for CCP and EVE. But this is just the beginning. As we have done with EVE Online, in the coming weeks, and for years to come, we will continually improve upon and add to the DUST 514 experience, as well as add deeper integration between the two games and their communities.
The DUST 514 beta will be open to all PS3 users.

never really been a fan of MP games, but that said i gotta say this is by far THE best MP game ive ever played!
been in the beta since it first opened and its amazing to see how much the game has evolved and improved since then.
removes all the typical MP problems as well like LAG, technical glitches, and the wide open maps are beautiful!
its a shame $ony is not touting this allot more, it really is the MP game that could make the system shine!
