And October 24th for all PSN members. Details inside.

The PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale beta begins today for PlayStation Plus members, with all PSN members getting their chance on October 24th.

In tandem, a PS Vita beta will begin today with no PS Plus membership required. The beta will support Cross-Play, which means PS3 and PS Vita owners will be able to do battle with and against each other.

In the beta:

You’ll be able to play as Kratos, Sweet Tooth, Colonel Radec, Sly Cooper, PaRappa and Fat Princess.

You’ll be able to play in both the Metropolis and Hades stages.

You’ll be able to try out four-player online tournaments and 2 vs 2 online tournaments. For the 2 vs 2 games we’ll be supporting friend invites, so you and a friend can fight another team online.

All the fun will come to an end on October 30th.
