Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes will have base building, smartphone integration

Hideo Kojima revealed that Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes will include base building. This should be similar to Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker, the first time we saw this for the franchise. And, from what it seems, Kojima wants base management to be done through smartphones, too.

Since this base is Snake’s home, players will be able to walk around the base in realtime, upgrade it and more. Also back for the game is weapon R&D from Peace Walker.

Can we also hope for a Vita app? With Dust 514 doing almost the same thing, it’s very likely we’ll see this base management application for the smartphones appear on the Vita, too.
