Insomniac Games has just let loose via twitter that its upcoming shooter, Resistance 3, will see a 2011 release.
“Resistance 3 is a 2011 release,” the developer said in a tweet responding to a fan.
The game was announced at Gamescom last week at Sony’s presser.

The trailer is rather proper. Beginning somewhat calm, people living their lives, riding on a train, and later, the thing goes berserk. Chimeras all over the place fighting for the fall of man. Chaos follows, hence Resistance 3.
The studio also made known that it won’t be showing anything involving Resistance 3 next weekend at PAX, instead it’ll focus solely on Ratchet & Clank: All4One from its North Carolina studio.

I like the trailer, I hope it has co-op. I am excited about the new R&C, it is from the new Insomniac studio and I cant wait to see what they do with it.
If these guys don’t reinstate co-op in R3 I’ll do a Nick on em.
