Video Thirst: Skyrim: Hearthfire DLC Is Official, First Trailer Released

Skyrim: Hearthfire DLC is the second offering for Bethesda’s epic, the first being Dawnguard, and just like Dawnguard, Hearthfire will be released exclusively on Xbox 360 next week for 400 MS Points.

According to Bethesda: “Hearthfire allows you to purchase land and build your own home from the ground up – from a simple one-room cottage to a sprawling compound complete with armory, alchemy laboratory, and more. Choose your land, customize your house, guard it from unwanted visitors, and turn your house into a home by adopting children.”

This sounds lame to me…not sure why people keep placing tower defense mechanics in games, but I for one dont like it. This sounds like a mix between the Sims and SimCity. I’d also like to mention that Dawnguard still hasnt dropped on PS3, yet 360 gets more DLC….may to s**t on PS3 customers Bethesda.

kinda lame to me in fallout 3 you were able to get house by completing a mission, and you could customize any way you wanted. Skyrim is the spiritual successor to fallout 3 and this couldn’t have been included in the original game? you have to buy it as DLC. seems very lame to me.
