Halo, Halo 2, Halo 3, Halo Wars, Halo: ODST and now Halo: Reach. We’ve had all those titles in just a few years, yet, each has sold millions of copies. Halo: Reach is the latest to come available and has also become the best selling in franchise history. Those results has prompted Microsoft to start making Halo games more frequently, hoping to cash in even more.

But will the franchise’s popularity wane even as Microsoft plans to release titles more frequently? One analyst thinks so.
