Update: Sony’s just tweeted that PSN will be experience downtime throughout the day because of the hackers attack, saying downtime will be rather sporadic:
“PSN currently undergoing sporadic maintenance. Access to the PSN may be interrupted throughout the day. We apologize for any inconvenience.”
Original Story: As promised via a threatening message today, hacker group Anonymous have taken down two of Sony’s flagship sites: PlayStation.com and Sony.com. The PSN site’s also giving problems with the hackers claiming that PSN, and other Sony sites coming next.
Things just got nasty.
