Anonymous is imploding. The leaderless hacker group in the midst of the Sony/Geohot drama decided to target the firm because, according to it, Sony’d gone too far. But what we didn’t know is that not all members of the faction were in support of this move, and now, with some acting like “leaders” of the headless clan, things are falling apart. It was earlier reported that one member named “Ryan” hacked the main Anonymous and rendered the group voiceless. Now, more rogue members are voicing their opinions.
“I was never a fan of OpSony,” said Garrett, another rogue member. “They just like seeing things destroyed.”
At the same time, however, Garrett doesn’t believe Anonymous was behind the massive PSN breach, saying “Even if they were, it was planned behind closed doors. No one’s going to admit to that. It’s way too hardcore. The FBI will be involved. I doubt if that will ever come out.”
