Far Cry 3 was one of E3 2011′s most outstanding reveals, from visuals to gameplay, the game looked and played magnificently. But perhaps that’s because it was running on a PC? because according to Ubisoft, the best version of the game is on the aforementioned platform.
If you enjoyed Far Cry 2, Ubisoft’s saying the third installment will boast ten times more scale than the last, and we’re hoping that will make the game ten times better.
The Far Cry 3 unveiling at E3 last week was definitely a stunner. It’s right up there with best reveals of the show, and the PC footage shown was simply breathtaking. It looked as beautiful as the best out there. But don’t worry much about console footage, because according to Ubisoft, the game will see the same fidelity on said platform.

I played Far Cry 2 and I semi-liked it. For me, the announcement or the lack thereof of the third installment doesn’t mean much, but for you, your excited juices might just start flowing like a river overwhelmed with a full day of incessant rain.
