Crystal Dynamics Next Game Will Be On Next Generation Consoles

Apart from its new Tomb Raider reboot, Crystal Dynamics are seeing no rest. The developer’s placed a job ad on its site seeking talented folks to work on a “cutting edge, original IP” that’s headed to “future platforms”.

The same job listing described the title as a “third-person action adventure” game.

Crystal Dynamics boss said earlier this year that “2012 is going to be the biggest year in Crystal’s history.” This was after they announced that a new IP was already underway. Could an official announcement come later this year? I don’t think so. I believe Crystal Dynamics wanted to show the game off at E3 because Microsoft and Sony had planned on revealing the latest systems then, but since that didn’t happen, we’ll have to wait until 2013.

“We have a ton of great content lined up from our teams,” he continued, “and we can’t wait to pull the wrapper off some of the amazing things we have been putting all of our efforts into.”

Thanks, Videogamer.

if they can do tomb raider with current systems cant wait to see what they can do with next gen!
shame TR got pushed back to march next year, it was looking like such a awesome game!
i can see it getting overlooked because of bigger more popular franchises releasing next march,
shame, just another freaking awesome game let down by incompetent publisher!

Yeah, looking forward to it. What’s in March apart from God of War: Ascension?
