DICE has confirmed what we already knew: Battlefield 3 Back To Karkland DLC lands on PS3 December 6th, and one week later on PC and Xbox 360.
The pack will be free for all those who purchased the limited edition version of the game. It’ll also be available for free if you preordered your copy. If you did neither of the above, however, and instead purchased a regular copy of the game, you’ll have to cough up $14.99/£11.99/1200 Microsoft Points for it.
Back To Karkland will contain “a new layer of persistence” with new Assignments such as “Let it Rain”, which will demand players get “20 kills with Light Machine Guns and two mortar kills.”
Once the requirements are met, a new Back To Karkland weapon will be unlocked with matching dog tags and will be usable in the Back To Karkland pack and the original maps.
