At the All Access PlayStation launch event last night, Metal Gear Solid creator Hideo Kojima paid homage to his longtime fans on PlayStation, stating that the franchise got wings when it was released on PSone, and has since become synonymous with the PlayStation brand.

In honor of their unwavering support, the PS4 version of Metal Gear Solid V will include a Déjà Vu mission exclusive to the platform, showing Snake just how he looked on the PSone, with no extra pixels added.
