There’s a time for everything under the sun, and today, it’s time for Killzone 3 fans to know exactly when the game’s multiplayer will be begin, who’ll be able to participate, and how many players will be accepted.
There’s also a new trailer for it below the break, and simply put, it wins.
The beta will become available on October 25th, to PS Plus members only. It’ll be limited to 10,000 members of the service, and will introduce the ‘”Operations’ game type, party system, and jetpack and exoskeleton vehicles.”
If you wish to be part of beta, or at least be considered for it, you’ll need to download a special XMB theme from the PS Plus segment of the PlayStation Store. Access to download the special theme will commence on October 19th.
If Sony chooses you, an email will be sent your way including your beta code and other important information.

Sony also released a new trailer for the highly anticipated exclusive shooter, one that’s drop dead gorgeous and full of win. In it, a leader’s talking up his soldiers, boosting them up with lofty words like a man who’s just seen his savior. Victory.

I hope I get in this beta. I mean I’m one of the biggest Killzone fans.This is what I thought of when Sony said exclusive beta access.

Cool. Oh and it kinda sucks that only the first 5000 who meet the requirements from EU and US respectively will get in. On that note, don’t panic if I don’t post a single comment that day. I’ll probably be refreshing the PS Store every minute, lol.

i am not going to be mad if i do not get into it, but i really want to. I at least get to play assassin’s creed beta and dead space 2. I really want to play it as well, and I think they will let more people in after the beta has been out for a while. like the dead space 2 beta. it started a few weeks ago and they just invited a whole new group of people. So we will see.
right, so we pay them 70+ bucks a year for features THEY PROMISED and to get the features THEY PROMISED we have to download a certain XMB theme?
