While Mass Effect’s main protagonist, Commander Sheperd has been loved by fans of the series from its inception, the third installment of the game to be released in March of next year will be his/her last stand, but the franchise will continue, obviously.
It seems a great majority of Mass Effect 2 players rather use a male Shepard to be the main protagonist while playing the game. Why, you ask? I think the answers’s rather simple: more males have purchased Mass Effect 2, and so it’s natural to choose their own kind.
Apparently, only 18% of gamers opted to take the Jennifer Hale-voiced female Shepard as their mainstay.
