It’s proclaimed as the biggest Gears of War title yet, and come September 20th, Gears of War 3 will go on sale worldwide, and developer Epic Games are looking to break all records they’ve managed in the past by selling six million copies of the game.
Still at number one on gamer’s most anticipated list is Epic Games’ Gears of War 3, as Ipsos releases the results from its monthly Gameplan Insights survey. Other games that moved up on the list include Mortal Kombat and Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception.
The Xbox 360′s biggest exclusive game this year is without a doubt, Gears of War 3. The game will release in September, and Epic Games are expecting huge returns from it. In fact, company boss Mike Capps is hoping it becomes the biggest entertainment launch of 2011, but has doubted that would happen.
Yet, after the trilogy has ended, the developer says it might give gamers are “rest” from the best selling third person shooter franchise.
It’s the moment you’ve been waiting for, Gearsaholics. And now, come April 25th, you’ll get a chance to give it a go as the game’s beta commences on said date.
Stop lying to yourself; you know you want Gears of War 3. In fact, if you don’t own an Xbox 360, I’d advise you to start saving up on some cash so by the time September rolls around, you’ll have enough money to purchase the inevitable Gears 3/360 bundle.
