Gears Of War 3 Beta Goes Live April 25

It’s the moment you’ve been waiting for, Gearsaholics. And now, come April 25th, you’ll get a chance to give it a go as the game’s beta commences on said date.

It’ll also include three new competitive modes and four new maps. The beta ends on May 15th.

Gears of War 3 will come ready in three different editions:

- Standard Edition

- Limited Edition

- Epic Edition

Pre-ordering the game will also grant you access to the beta, and according to Epic, players will be able to carry their unlocks from the beta to the retail version of the game. Unlocks include a beta tester medal, thrashball Cole multiplayer skin, gold-plated retro Lancer, flaming Hammerburst, flaming Lancer, flaming sawed-off Shotgun and flaming gnasher shotgun.

The Xbox 360 exclusive goes on sale September 20th worldwide.

    i miss the good old days where shotguns were really powerful, would send a enemy flying like a catapult!
    remember the doom shotgun, that was a classic!
    the shotgun in gears 3 looks a playback to the old days, a ripper shredder!
