When Sony went live with PS3 firmware update 4.41, the firm said the update was a “minor” tweak that “improve system stability”. However there’s more than meets the eye with update 4.41.
Although not mentioned by Sony, the firmware update now allows gamers to queue downloads directly from the webfront of the PlayStation Store, known as the Sony Entertainment Network.
This has limited use, however, as it won’t switch on and begin downloading immediately, instead it presents you with a list of queued downloads the next time you switch it on.
PS3 firmware update went live two days ago.
