Microsoft Launching New Security Measures Across Services

Microsoft will soon introduce a single log-in system across its services, including Xbox Live, Windows and others that will better represent the company’s vision moving forward, while introducing some new features. The move, impart, is to boost security measures across its offerings. The firm’s made plain its plans and we’ve included the strategy below the break.

The plan was unveiled in a post on the firm’s blog, and will be rolled out in the next “couple of days”.

New Measures Include:

• Communicate with your Outlook.com inbox and calendar, and with Skype video chat.
• Entertain yourself with games from Xbox Live, Xbox Music and Xbox video.
• Access to all your photos, videos, docs and other stuff through SkyDrive.
• One set of people from the networks you use, like Facebook, Linked In, Twitter and more.
• Unlock personal productivity with Office.

While the new features are great, Microsoft said added protection will be paramount to ensure the safety of its users.
