Microsoft Next Xbox Event Pushed Back A Month – Rumor

After Sony’s effective PlayStation Meeting in February, an event that took the industry by storm – and surprise, rumor had it Microsoft was fixing an event of its own for late April. Well, turns out MS has pushed back the event a month – to May – and Maybe even June at E3, with whispers suggesting that Microsoft was caught off guard by Sony’s PS4 reveal, and the many features the console boasts, forcing it to reevaluate.

According to a tweet by Paul Thurrott, an individual who has sources within Microsoft and was one of the first to hint at an April reveal,  the next Xbox will not see its unveiling in April as previously scheduled.

“That April Xbox announce? Pushed back a month,” said Thurrott in one tweet. “We’ll see what happens May 21, actually,” he said in another. He then suggested that Microsoft will reveal more about Xbox at three events: “Stuff in May, stuff at E3, stuff at Build,” Thurrott continued.

Whatever the case, at some point soon, Microsoft will have to reveal the next Xbox console, and then we’ll know what the firm has been cooking up all these years.
