Xbox 360 Mandatory System Update Out Today

360

A mandatory Xbox 360 system update is being rolled out today, Major Nelson as made known.

The team has just released a system update for the Xbox 360 over Xbox LIVE. Starting today when you sign in to Xbox LIVE you’ll receive a prompt to accept this mandatory update. If you are signed into LIVE already, you may be signed out and asked to accept the update and you’ll be back online in a few moments.

In this update, we are correcting some issues such as displaying the incorrect playlist name when launching a playlist from Xbox SmartGlass to the console, an error with Xbox Video closed-captioning and an error with Xbox Music that some were experiencing.

one thing next gen systems really need to rectify!
WTF should i have to waste 500 of my download usage on a update thats going to do nothing for me?
    smartglass?
    dont use it!
    video CC?
    dont use it!
    music?
    dont use it!
so why should i have to waste a portion of my download usage on something i dont need?
M$, you do know not everyone lives in the states with ADSL2 unlimited internet dont you ?
and not everyone works for one of the biggest companies in the world, so they can waste a arm and a leg on internet contracts…….
