Other Features On Xbox Live Up 50 Percent

Other Features On Xbox Live Up 50 Percent

Ever since the new Dashboard went live on Xbox 360, Microsoft has seen a 50 percent increase in use of other entertainment features on the service. Apparently, the plan is working.

That’s according to Major Nelson, who revealed the news via his blog. He said “nearly 50 percent” more people used Xbox 360′s console entertainment applications in December 2011 compared to November of the same year.

As for video streaming, the service saw an increase of 140 percent in 2011 over 2010.

Like I’ve already said, PSN doesn’t even come close to matching Xbox Live’s offering, and as it’s looking more and more likely Sony won’t update the service, let’s hope PS4 usher in something a bit more vibrant.

not exactly surprising when there the only “features” to get anything new as of late!
bring out a new halo, too human, dark zero and banjo kazooie then lets see how well those features are doing!
%$#@ the features, xbox is about the games!
i just wish M$ would get that through their thick skulls……..

Yep, and it seems as if it’s getting worst! Welcome back! By the way. How was the cruise?

  • nick

thanks, its good to be back!
it was good besides the death incidents i enjoyed it.
it took us to Vanuatu 4 days there to a small island called Walla which is litteraly a 20 minute walk around thats how small it is!
beautiful waters there, beautiful coral perfect place to go snorkelling.
then we went to port Villa which is allot bigger, its the main city of Vanuatu quite a big city.
ended up going through a rain forest down to beautiful waterfalls, now that was a trip!
crystal clear waters, and sheer cliff faces so high you could not see the top even with binoculars!
then it was off to New Caledonia and another small island called Lifou.
allot bigger then Walla but also allot smaller then port vila.
we were suppose to go from there to Noumea but we did not end up going because as i said before a old lady jumped off the boat and we had to spend the night looking for her so we did not have time.
then it was 2 days back.
so it was 4 days out, 3 days at the islands, and 3 days back.
well technically 2 days back, we spent 1 of the 3 days just circling around looking for this person.

it was interesting, i dunno if i would do it again only because the sea days are really boring.
i need to keep active, i get bored very easily and on the ship theres not much to do.
if your good sitting and talking, or watching TV you will love it.
but i need to keep active, walk around, do things, so i did not really enjoy it.
port days i loved, it was so nice visiting new places, but sitting at the bar talking to friends from 9 in the morning to 10 at night got seriously boring!
probably not the best place for me to go too, 2 of the 4 islands as i said are really small so there is basically swimming, swimming and swimming to do.
there so small there are shops but only the locals who are selling cloths that is about it.
they catch all their food, and electronics are non existent they were real 3rd world countries.
id love to do one to NZ, i think id enjoy that allot more because its 2 days there, 2 days back and 10 days in the city doing things, surrounded by things i love.
it was a nice experience though, its amazing how clear their waters are!
its like looking through thin air, its just amazing!
even the waters in Hawaii looked dirty compare to these!
