Nintendo Not Making Anymore Wii Games

Now that Wii U is out, Nintendo says it won’t be making anymore Wii games. Furthermore, the company says there are none currently in the pipeline to be released for the system.

Nintendo of America director of product marketing Bill Trinen broke the news to Gamespot, making clear that the company isn’t developing anymore Wii titles now that the Wii U has launched. Trinen was asked whether there were any internally developed Wii games in the pipeline, he simply said: “No, there are not right now.”
