Telltale Games To Expand In 2013

After The Walking Dead’s runaway success, Telltale is expanding, and will be relocating to larger office in the new year.

The North Bay Business Journal reports TellTale has signed a lease on a 22,000 square foot office previously occupied by Autodesk, as it makes room for its constantly growing staff.

The new studio has room for up to 160 employees, which the San Rafael-based TellTale believes will meet its needs over the next few years. The company currently employs 125 staff, almost double its workforce of two years ago, and will move to the new space in March next year.

Telltale was founded in 2004 and became popular by producing quality licensed titles such as Sam & Max series, CSI, Wallace & Gromit, and more recently Jurassic Park and Back to the Future. It’s latest, The Walking Dead, has been a monumental hit for the young developer.

The Walking Dead Episode 5 saw a release on November 20th in US, followed by a simultaneous release on every other platform on the 21st of the same month in Europe.

    wish they would do another walking dead game next year, but this time a full game not something broken up into segments, and something a bit more grand scale.
    they would be the perfect developer to put on the i am alive series too, such potential that game had!
    shame no one has really taken a decent stab at it because the genres got allot of potential!

    I have to say this is great news. I finished the walking dead game last night afer episode 5 (not 4 Ernice) came out yesterday.
    I have to say i was completely blown away. I have never ever played anything like it, i was completely blown away and overcome with emotion. I literally just stared at the end credits in dismay for about half an hour completely speechless. You know sometimes when your really engrossed in a film and you get a feeling of emotion, or satisfaction? well it was like that but a million times more powerful. I really cannot explain it, but i have never ever felt anything like it from any game or film and i doubt i ever will again.
    I diasgree with the not breaking it up into segments Nick, each chapeter has its own plot, its own storyline and you really get to connect with each carachter. The fact that each episode leaves on a cliff hanger begging you for more and your decisions effect the outcome of the game makes it even more enjoyable. I think that helped in making this game even more powerful. If i was to have never played it an bought it on disc next week, id of completed it in a few hours and thought, yeah it was good. But the way they did it was epic. Im no good with words but seriously grab a hold of this game and play it and you’ll see what i mean. Its extremely gruesome and not for the faint hearted, but i gurantee every single one of you will not be dissapointed.

    oh and nick, they are doing another walking dead game next year, well there doing atleast a few more episodes anyway. Good job too, i wont ruin it for you incase you get to play this, but the storyline definately leaves it open for a couple more thats for sure

    of course theres a season pass! thats how they sold the game origionally. its £15 so prob about $30?! its definately cheaper than buying each episode, and believe me you will want to play each episode :)

    @Foxton: I Will, for your sake, get it. This had better be great! Also, you should at least rent COD Black Ops 2. Don’t let Patrick fool you, or prevent you from enjoying a great game :-)

    @foxton: Actually no, if you rent the game you can still game online. Because the thing that Activision does without using Online Codes is the only great thing about them.

    seriously mate as an editor in chief of a games site it is your duty to play this game! you are quite simply missing out on one of the greatest games the world has or ever will see!!!!!
