Today, Activision announced that Skylanders Giants, the latest Skylanders entry, is hitting shelves on October 21. Skylanders has been Activision’s biggest-grossing game in the months from January to April in 2012, so it comes as no surprise that it’s getting another installment so soon. However, as some might have noticed, Spyro is nowhere to be found in the title, as opposed to the first game; Activision has confirmed that the turned-butt-ugly-for-no-reason hero from our childhoods will be playable in the Giants game.
Also, there’s a new character to keep you interested, named Swarm. An insect-like bipedal flying-something that looks deadly but still cute. Check out the video below to get your Swarm dose for today:
