It’s no longer rumor or hearsay, EA has now confirmed Battlefield 4 for a 2013 launch, with a beta coming autumn of the same year.
The publisher confirmed the game on Medal Of Honor’s official site, in a preorder promotion piece. It reads: “pre-order Medal of Honor Warfighter to access the exclusive Battlefield 4 Beta!” EA also said “Additional details regarding Battlefield 4 will be revealed at a later date.”

Battlefield 4 was leaked on Origin last weekend, but was soon after taken down. Battlefield 3 is EA’s fastest selling game of all time, with more than 5 million copies being sold in its first week on sale. Since then the shooter’s sold 15 million units globally.
Medal Of Honor: Warfighter will see a release late October.
