If Sony and MS were thinking about Ouya only in the back of their minds, they’d better start paying attention, because in less than 8hrs the console has surpassed its goal of raising $950,000 on Kickstarter. It’s now over $1.1million.

    thats awesome to see this getting lots of attention and support! It obviously wont get anywhere close the the ps4 or next xbox sales but I cant wait to see how this continues to grow. Also am I the only one that thinks of this as a bigger better version of little big planet? lol hearing “all the games will be free” and watching them browse through the library it felt a little bit like LBP haha.

    besides the whole mobile coming to the TV concept, i really am really excited about what this could bring with indie titles!
    and mainly remakes.
    i really hope they let you create your own games and provide a free version of it on the store.
    hopefully this will make the reality of crash returns the remake of crash bandicoot in CE2, and the reinvision of a new crash game being made in UE3 more of a reality than a tech demo!
    there are SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO many games out there the “big boys” wont tackle, so i really hope this opens the doors and says to the little guy do whatever the hell you want with it!
    if that means we can have fans remaking games they love and letting others enjoy them that would be freaking sweet!
